Does it hurt?
Before we start, we explain every step so you know exactly what to expect. Sensation varies from person to person — at your consultation we'll go over how we keep the session as comfortable as possible.
How long does it last, and when do I need a touch-up?
Results usually last from one to a few years, depending on your skin and aftercare, and a touch-up is typically scheduled a few weeks after the first session. Your specialist will give you a personal timeline.
Does it work on darker or oily skin?
Yes. Technique and pigment color are chosen for your skin tone and type. On oilier skin, hair strokes may heal softer, so your specialist may recommend a different technique.
What is healing like?
Brows look darker for the first days and then soften. You'll get written aftercare — usually avoiding water, sun, pools and makeup on the area for the period your specialist recommends.
I already have old brow pigment. Can it be redone?
It depends on the color and intensity of the old pigment. At your consultation we'll assess whether it can be corrected. Laser removal is not currently offered at Nova.
What happens at the first consultation?
We talk about the look you want, study your face shape (visagism) and draw the brow design. We only start pigmenting once you approve the design.
